Summer 2019
This floating shift shelf was designed for one of Anne Becker's clients and is still under construction. Additional doors will be added over the some of the compartments as seen in drawings below. The client requested this room to remain open with little to no furniture thus  the response taken to solve this challenge was to design a sculptural shelf that engages the space while maintaining visual openness. Not only is this shelf floating but it also floats slightly off the wall to reinforce this notion of visual transparency. With the guidance and feedback of Anne Becker, this project was independently proposed and designed by myself as well as implemented through direct communication with the contractor.
